Solbakken is a small-scale renovation site in Copenhagen, focused on the construction of residential buildings and infrastructure. The site uses multiple staff units and office containers, all requiring significant energy for heating and lighting, especially during the colder months.
The challenge: high energy consumption for heating and lighting, which resulted in substantial operational costs and carbon emissions. With new LCA A4+A5 regulations coming into effect in 2025, they needed an energy-saving solution that wouldn't break the budget.
